Update on the Building Works

'We
are delighted that the building works have now been completed.
We are also pleased to have completed the landscaping of the garden
and are looking forward to summer. |

Lake District Kayak Challenge
to raise money for St. Leonard's Hospice

On the 13th September 2008, Rob & Bill begin Kayaking the length
of every permissible lake in the Lake District. This is around 52
miles (two marathons!). The paddling (on the water) will be
completed in less than 24 hours (this does not include the time
travelling between lakes).

Bill Ford and Robert Glover Kayaked the length of
all the navigable lakes in the Lake District.

St Leonard's Hospice, York
St Leonard's is part of the Hospice Movement, a voluntary service
for people with life-threatening illness.
Their specially trained medical and nursing staff offer day care for
people living in their own homes and in-patient care in a purpose
built 20-bedded unit.
No charge is made to patients.

Building Works

We are
delighted with the progress of the building works to upgrade the practice.
We have
invested considerably to offer you the latest dental technologies so that
you can
be assured that your dental care will be in a safe, comfortable and
relaxed environment.
We now have
a dedicated dental implant suite, sterilisation suite, new patient waiting
and consultation rooms.

Dr Prasad
Dr Prasad joined the practice in August 2007 and provides routine
dental care as well as taking referrals for endodontic (root
filling) treatment. Following qualification with honours in 2002
from Birmingham, Nitin undertook further postgraduate training in
the specialist fields of Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and
Restorative Dentistry, gaining his MFDS from the Royal College of
Surgeons of England in 2005.
Nitin also works part
time in the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield as a
Clinical Assistant in the Restorative Department. There he makes up
part of the specialist team treating patients referred in for
complex endodontic and endodontic re-treatments. |
